Begins with Opposing the Permit To Take Water Application

St Marys Cement proposes to inject water that has been circulated in a "trench" (polite word for "ditch") directly into the production zones of our drinking water aquifer. This method bypasses the natural filtration processes that have filtered our water for centuries.

Our water will be at risk, and that should be enough
to make anyone who drinks it, see RED

We need all citizens to continue to reinforce the Ministry of the Environment’s caution on Wednesday April 16th, and suggest that if the St Marys Cement permit to take water application is making you see RED, then come to this meeting wearing your colour as a shirt, a hat, or a scarf.

Presentations will include representatives from St Marys Cement, the Ministry of the Environment (MOE), the City of Hamilton, and other invited stakeholders. FORCE will be presenting on behalf of our communities. Following the presentations there will be a question and answer period. Please be there!
