Marys Cement Continues to Fight On!
The Provincial Government has now taken a position on the proposed Flamborough Quarry through a Ministerial Zoning Order (MZO) freezing the current zoning on the proposed quarry site. Unfortunately, St Marys Cement continues to pursue its quarry development. It recently filed an application to have the MZO revoked and requested that the application be referred to the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB). Even with the Province taking a supportive position, an OMB hearing will be in our future.
