First Annual Golf Tournament - A Great Success!
Friday the 13th turned out to be a lucky day for golfers in Carlisle. The first "FORCE Golf Classic" entertained 120 golfers who enjoyed 18 holes of golf at the Carlisle Golf & Country Club. The day included a BBQ lunch, carts, free gifts, the famous Carlisle Golf & Country Club's Prime Rib dinner, golf prizes, a raffle and an auction.
The "FORCE Golf Classic" was organized to bring the community together and to raise funds to help fight a large quarry that is proposed for the heart of the community by St Marys Cement. Everyone agreed that it was a very successful day. Iggy Kaneff, the owner of The Kaneff Group of Companies and the Carlisle Golf & Country Club participated in the tournament and spoke at the dinner, where he emphasized his support for FORCE.
The many volunteers who worked to make the day a success would like to thank the Carlisle Golf & Country Club for their support and extend their appreciation to the many local businesses who sponsored the event.
