Throughout the application review process, there will be times that the Community needs to mobilize to take specific actions. Actions might include such things as e-mailing Councillors, Members of Provincial Parliament, or Cabinet Ministers; writing letters to these elected officials; attending Committee or Council meetings; attending City of Hamilton sponsored Public Information Sessions; and attending OMB hearings. This section of the website will tell you what action to take, why, how, and by when by listing specific actions required in the table below. An example is provided below.

May 7, 2008 All residents are encouraged to send their comments to the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) regarding the Draft Permit to Take Water before the 30 day deadline. A draft letter and on-line form have been prepared.

We will review the aggregate license application details, explain the application process, and show you how to register your objection.
